Sage Dental's Senior Accountant is responsible for performing month-end closing activities, and assessing internal controls, accounting processes and procedures for the company. The position requires solid analytical, organizational and communication skills. This position reports to the Accounting Manager and will have exposure to the CFO and other Senior Leaders of the company. Responsibilities: Perform month-end closing activities (journal entries, revenue recognition, account reconciliations and analyses) with efficiency and accuracy Assist with preparation of monthly financial statement analysis Interface with external auditors and assist in research and preparation of necessary audit schedules to support the financials Assist in data analytics by using various systems and tools to support digital automation initiatives Work collaboratively with the corporate accounting and finance team members to achieve accurate and timely results Support bank reporting and cash flow analysis Other duties as assigned by the Controller Qualifications: B.A. or B.S. in Finance or Accounting Four to Six (4-6) years relevant accounting work experience preferred Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting and cost control principles, including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics GP (preferred) Other Requirements: Demonstrated full cycle accounting and analytical skills Proven ability to be decisive, resolve issues and deliver on commitments and deadlines Adaptable and able to effectively prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment Self-motivated, deadline driven and results oriented; a problem solver with strong teamwork skills and strong desire to drive and implement change Excellent verbal and written communication skills Professional ability to interact with senior management Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite of products to include Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint Ability to work with cross-functional teams Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills Must be self-motivated, team player Ability to meet deadlines Apply today!
