Dr. Merriam's educational journey began at NYU College of Dentistry, where he graduated from Dental School in 2008. He then honed his skills and knowledge through a General Practice Residency at North Shore University Hospital in 2009, followed by an intensive Oral and Maxillofacial Residency at Montefiore Medical Center, which he completed in 2014. With over 15 years of experience, Dr. Merriam has earned a reputation as a skilled Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon. His expertise encompasses dental implants and bone reconstructive surgery, with a keen focus on incorporating the latest advancements in his practice.

Dr. Merriam's commitment to excellence and staying at the forefront of his field is evident through his active membership in professional organizations, including AAMOS, the ADA (American Dental Association), and the Georgia Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. His dedication to his craft extends to his active participation in dental research and his commitment to ongoing education. He attends over 100 hours of continuing dental and medical education annually.

Outside the operating room and lecture halls, Dr. Merriam enjoys pursuing his passions. He finds exhilaration on the slopes while skiing, immerses himself in the vibrant world of live music, and cherishes quality time spent with his loving wife and two children.
