Gabriela Romero, DDS

Dr. Gabriela Romero was born and raised in Venezuela, where she initially attended dental school at La Universidad del Zulia (LUZ). She graduated in 2008 and practiced general dentistry for one year before deciding to pursue a master’s degree in orthodontics and a specialty in pedagogy in Panama for three years. She returned to Venezuela and practiced as an orthodontist for one year.

Dr. Romero won the green card lottery visa, which brought her to the United States. She started dental school again at the University of Minnesota for two and a half years to obtain her dental license in the US.

In her free time, Dr. Romero likes to read books and exercise by jogging or weightlifting. She also enjoys watching movies and spending quality time with family and friends.

Dr. Romero loves practicing dentistry because she loves being able to transform a problem into a solution, help patients get healthy and contribute to their wellbeing.
