Dr. James Maina hails from Nairobi, Kenya. He attended the College of Dental Medicine at Augusta University, formerly Medical College of Georgia, graduating second in his class. He completed a one-year residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry, where he learned advanced techniques in intravenous conscious sedation, endodontics, and dental implant placement. In addition, Dr. Maina received a certification in Invisalign and Advanced Cardiac Life Support.

To Dr. Maina, Dentistry is not just drilling and filling but the perfect blend of art and science. Although he loves many facets of dentistry, James enjoys getting to know his patients. Whether a patient's concern is preventive, restorative, or a dental emergency, he creates a genuine connection with his patients and provides them with the excellent, individualized care they need.
