Jieun Jun, DMD

Dr. Jieun Jun attended Emory University and received her Bachelor's degree in Piano Performance in 2009. She earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 2013 from the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) School of Dentistry. She chose dentistry because she enjoys helping people and wants to make them smile more confidently.

Dr. Jun is dedicated to her profession and regularly pursues continuing education programs and certifications to expand her professional repertoire with offerings that include Botox, Filler, Kybella, PDO Threads, and Basic Implant Training with Hossein. She was a Clinical Adjunct faculty member at the UAB School of Dentistry from 2013-2014. She is devoted to charity work and has attended medical mission trips abroad to Paraguay, Brazil, Nicaragua, and domestically at non-profit organizations and medical centers in the U.S.

When not practicing, Dr. Jun plays the piano and pickleball and loves singing, dancing, hiking, and exercising. She also enjoys collecting mugs and stamps. She speaks Korean and English fluently and knows basic Spanish.
