Dr. Christine Gonzalez is a dedicated professional with a strong background in dentistry and a passion for community service. She earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at the UPR Medical Sciences Campus, School of Dental Medicine in Puerto Rico in 2023. Prior to that, she obtained a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University Central del Este in the Dominican Republic in 2015. Dr. Gonzalez also completed coursework in Biology at the University del Turabo in Barceloneta, Puerto Rico, and Human Biology at the University de Puerto Rico en Bayamón. Throughout her education and career, Dr. Gonzalez has been actively involved in research projects, particularly in the field of craniofacial genomics. She has gained practical dental experience at various institutions, including working with patients with special needs. Dr. Gonzalez is a member of the American Dental Association and the Florida Dental Association. She has volunteered her time and skills to various organizations and initiatives focused on oral health, such as Smile for Life. Her volunteer work has included conducting screenings, educating the elderly population on preventive oral health practices, providing oral screenings and fluoride treatments to school children, delivering health talks on dental hygiene practices for children, and providing professional orientation for middle school students. Additionally, she has participated in dental screening camps for low-income populations and performed dental procedures on communities in need. Outside of her professional life, Dr. Gonzalez enjoys going to the beach, traveling, and spending time with her family. She pursued a career in dentistry because of her passion for helping others, which began during her teenage years when she traveled to the Dominican Republic with a group to help people in need. This experience ignited her love for serving others and inspired her to pursue a career where she could make a positive impact on people's lives.

Dr. Erick Nunez is a compassionate and skilled dentist who earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from Marquette University School of Dentistry in 2004. With nearly two decades of experience, Dr. Nunez has devoted his career to delivering high-quality, comprehensive dental care. He is known for his warm demeanor and personalized approach, ensuring each patient feels comfortable and confident throughout their treatment. Dr. Nunez takes pride in educating his patients about the importance of maintaining good oral health as a foundation for overall well-being. An active member of the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), Dr. Nunez is committed to lifelong learning and staying at the forefront of advancements in dental technology and techniques. His dedication to continuous education allows him to provide the most effective and modern care to his patients, reflecting his passion for excellence in his field. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Nunez expresses his creativity through music. As an accomplished drummer and guitarist, he finds joy and inspiration in performing and composing. For him, both dentistry and music share a need for technical skill, artistry, and an understanding of individual needs—qualities he brings to every aspect of his life.

Dr. Maria A. Giron Cerrato has been practicing dentistry for 19 years. Originally from Honduras, she earned her Doctor in Dental Surgery degree from the Autonomous National University in 2003. Following graduation, she spent her early career treating patients at her father's private practice in Tegucigalpa. Dr. Giron Cerrato obtained her Doctor in Dental Medicine degree, graduating Summa Cum Laude from Temple University. She then completed specialty training in Endodontics at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia in 2016, with an award from the American Association of Endodontists for the presentation of her research project. Dr. Giron Cerrato attended New York University for advanced comprehensive dentistry and endodontics training. She also holds an MBA in Human Resources from Goldey Beacom College in Wilmington, Delaware. Dr. Giron Cerrato enjoys volunteering in local and international health missions and traveling to remote parts of the globe to serve the impoverished. Dr. Giron Cerrato's goal is to provide patients with compassion, kindness, and quality dental treatment. Dr. Giron Cerrato enjoys exploring nature and spending time with her two young kids and husband, and she is fluent in English and Spanish.

Dr. Shin Kim is a highly skilled oral and maxillofacial surgeon known for his exceptional expertise and distinguished career. Originally from Southern California, he began his academic journey at UCLA, earning a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering. Pursuing his passion for dentistry, he attended the New York College of Dentistry, graduating with honors and obtaining his Doctorate of Dental Surgery. Dr. Kim was selected for the US Navy's Health Professions Scholarship Program (HPSP), which fully supported his dental education. He served as a general dentist in the Navy for several years before undergoing specialized training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, MD. During his residency, he gained extensive experience in various surgical procedures, including dentoalveolar surgery, dental implants (including All-on-X), acute facial trauma management, facial reconstruction, orthognathic surgery, and cosmetic facial surgery. Throughout his tenure in the US Navy, Dr. Kim served Navy Sailors and Marines at various stations and on ships, including a deployment with the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN 69), a nuclear-powered aircraft carrier. Following an honorable discharge, Dr. Kim found his calling in Central Florida, where he established his practice. Dr. Kim's practice offers a comprehensive range of advanced oral and maxillofacial surgical procedures tailored to meet the diverse needs of his patients. He is dedicated to delivering exceptional care, specializing in intravenous sedation, complex teeth extractions, management of wisdom teeth, dental implants, bone grafting, sinus lifts, and pre-prosthetic surgery. Dr. Kim is a member of the Board-Certified American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and actively participates in professional organizations such as the American Dental Association and the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. Outside of work, Dr. Kim enjoys spending time with his family and participating in recreational activities such as fishing, golfing, swimming, and exploring the outdoors. With his extensive expertise and commitment to patient care, Dr. Kim is a trusted authority in oral and maxillofacial surgery.

Dental education has been at the core of Dr. Sixto Cornejo Zavala's journey, and his pursuit of excellence has led him on a path that spans two continents. A native of Ecuador, he embarked on his dental education at the Catholic University of Guayaquil, graduating in June 2016. Determined to broaden his horizons and deepen his knowledge, Dr. Zavala made a significant move to the United States, specifically to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Here, he embarked on a specialized journey in Periodontics at the esteemed University of Pennsylvania, commencing on July 5th, 2017, and successfully completing his program on June 30th, 2020. Extraordinary challenges marked this period as the world grappled with the COVID-19 pandemic, demonstrating Dr. Zavala's resilience and determination in the face of adversity. After conquering the field of Periodontics, Dr. Zavala's pursuit of dental excellence continued. He ventured to upstate New York, particularly to Rochester, where he pursued an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency. This comprehensive program, which took place from July 1st, 2020, to June 30th, 2022, further enhanced his skill set and versatility in dentistry. Dr. Zavala's dedication extends beyond his professional journey. He is fluent in both English and Spanish, enabling him to connect with a diverse range of patients and serve their dental needs effectively. His bilingual proficiency promotes effective communication and fosters a sense of inclusivity in his practice.
