Dr. Luis Guerrero is a highly skilled and dedicated dentist passionate about all aspects of dentistry. With over a decade of experience in the field, he has become known for his ability to provide comprehensive dental treatment to patients of all ages and his commitment to staying up-to-date with the latest technological innovations in dentistry. Throughout his career, Dr. Guerrero has held a variety of leadership roles, including serving as a preceptor in the Boston University and Arizona State University Dental School externship programs. He has also been recognized for his outstanding contributions to the field, receiving the prestigious Doctor of the Year award in 2013 at Gentle Dental. For Dr. Guerrero, the most rewarding part of his job is helping patients achieve and maintain healthy, beautiful smiles. He takes pride in building long-lasting relationships with his patients and always goes above and beyond to ensure their comfort and satisfaction. Outside the office, Dr. Guerrero enjoys traveling with his wife and spending time with his son and dogs. He is fluent in English and Spanish and committed to providing personalized, high-quality care to patients from diverse backgrounds and cultures.

Dr. Francesca Verratti (Dr. V) is originally from Caracas, Venezuela. She received her first Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the Central University of Venezuela, which she completed with honors. She then completed an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Internship in Caracas, followed by another year of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery training in Bogota, Colombia, at the Central Military Hospital, which is well known for pioneering techniques in osteogenesis, severe maxillofacial trauma, and orthognathic surgery. Dr. Verratti went on to train for three years at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, Florida, working closely with many renowned oral and maxillofacial surgeons, focusing on major facial reconstruction techniques. Dr. Verratti obtained her second dental degree at New York University, College of Dentistry and completed her oral and maxillofacial surgery residency training at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center, where she helped care for a wide range of complex patients. During her time at NYU, she won the American Equilibration Society award for comprehensive care in occlusion and temporomandibular joint disorders. She also enjoys giving back to the specialty of oral and maxillofacial surgery and the community, and has been an instructor at NYU and a notable speaker at Bellevue Hospital and the Southern California Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology. In her free time, Dr. Verratti likes to connect with nature and enjoys an active lifestyle full of camping trips and adventures with her husband, Victor, and their dogs, Choco & Gaia.

Dr. Juan Mendoza is a highly respected periodontist in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He is known for his expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of periodontal (gum) disease, as well as in placing dental implants. He is dedicated to providing his patients with the highest quality of care and takes a personalized approach to treatment, ensuring that each patient's unique needs and goals are met. In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Mendoza is actively involved in continuing education and is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Periodontology and the Florida Dental Association. Outside of the office, Dr. Mendoza enjoys spending time with his family and staying active through outdoor activities like biking and hiking. He is also committed to giving back to the community and regularly volunteers his time and resources to local charities. Dr. Adi Suta completed his undergraduate pre-dental training at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, where he received a bachelor’s degree in philosophy. During his college years, he worked as a Nurse Tech at Scottish-Rite Children’s Hospital, where his passion and interest in Pediatric Healthcare began. He then moved to South Florida to attend Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine and graduated with his DMD degree in 2012. While studying at Nova, he was involved in the American Student Dental Association as well as acting as the President of the Pre-Doctoral Pediatric Dentistry Club. After finishing his Dental School education, he moved to Miami for his Pediatric Dentistry Residency at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital, which he completed in 2014. He is an active member of the American Dental Association, the Florida Dental Association and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. He is raising a family with his wife, Dina, and in his spare time, he enjoys exploring nature, traveling, reading, and sharing his passion for health and well-being with others. His mission is to help families in his community optimize their oral health by cultivating good hygiene and nutrition-related habits.

Dr. Andrew Demos earned his Bachelor’s degree in Biology and Economics from the University of Pittsburgh. Following college, Dr. Demos attended dental school at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine. During this time, he realized his passion and love for the specialty of Orthodontics. While in school, Dr. Demos received several honors, including the Clinical Excellence Award in Cosmetic and Restorative Dentistry and the Divisional Excellence Award in Behavioral Science and Oral Biology. After dental school, Dr. Demos completed his orthodontic residency at Jacksonville University School of Orthodontics. Dr. Demos prides himself on being highly skilled in all areas of Orthodontics, and his fondness for his chosen profession is matched only by the quality of his work. In addition to Orthodontics, Dr. Demos is well known for his care and compassion toward his patients.

Dr. Jessica Riccobono is an experienced dentist specializing in general dentistry and endodontics. With expertise in root canals, retreatments, and root end surgery, she provides compassionate and high-quality care to her patients. Originally from Florida, Dr. Riccobono completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Florida, majoring in Biology with a minor in Spanish Literature. She graduated with honors from Boston University, earning her DMD degree in 2019. Driven by her passion for relieving dental pain and preserving teeth, she pursued advanced training at Texas A&M Baylor College of Dentistry. In addition to her general dentistry experience, Dr. Riccobono is an ABE board-eligible candidate actively involved in endodontic research. As a full-time endodontist in South Florida, she performs a wide range of procedures, including non-surgical root canals, retreatments, and endodontic microsurgeries. Her goal is to provide her patients the highest level of care and compassion. Dr. Riccobono chose to join Sage because of its exceptional culture and the opportunity to provide her expertise in a familiar and comfortable setting for her patients. Returning to her hometown in South Florida has been a dream come true, allowing her to be close to her family, friends, and the beautiful tropical beaches. Fluent in Spanish, Dr. Riccobono is a member of professional organizations such as the American Board of Endodontics, the American Dental Association, the Florida, Texas, and Colorado Dental Associations, and the American Association of Endodontists. Outside dentistry, she enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, biking, and playing pickleball.

Dr. Alejandro Lamas is a highly skilled and compassionate dentist who received his Doctor of Dental Medicine from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in May 2019. He began his career as a general dentist in Massachusetts, but in June of 2022, he returned to his home state of Florida to continue serving his community. Dr. Lamas is passionate about educating his patients and involving them in every aspect of their recommended treatment plan. He believes in addressing his patients' concerns and showing empathy and patience to ensure they feel comfortable under his care. He is committed to providing high-quality dentistry to his patients and constantly seeks professional growth opportunities through continuing education courses. In addition to his work as a dentist, Dr. Lamas enjoys spending time with his family, dancing salsa, playing golf, and pursuing his interest in photography. He is fluent in English and Spanish, allowing him to communicate effectively with diverse patients.

Dr. Rhona Guilarte is a skilled artisan and gentle second-generation dentist. Her most significant influence in becoming a dentist was her mother, Dr. Elena M. Guilarte, an Endodontist. Dr. Guilarte attended Nova Southeastern University, earning her Bachelor of Science and Doctorate in Medical Dentistry, which she completed on June 2, 2005. After completing her degree, Dr. Guilarte became active in the dental community by attending numerous Cosmetic and General Dentistry continuing education programs, obtaining multiple certifications, and becoming a member of several prestigious dental associations. She holds several certifications, including Basic Cardiac Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association, certification in the placement of Nitrous Oxide, Invisalign, Lumineers, Dental Implants, The Dawson Academy (Functional Occlusion from TMJ to Smile Design), Six Month Smile, Frontline TMJ and Facial Pain Therapy Techniques. Dr. Guilarte has also been involved in extensive research in Endodontics at Nova Southeastern University. Her research was published in the Journal of the American Dental Association in 2009, Volume 140, Issue 6, Pages 680-688. The research is entitled "Removing Root Canal Obturation Materials." As a result, Dr. Guilarte is a highly qualified general dentist who performs painless anterior and posterior Root Canals from scratch and retreats. Before opening her dental office, Dr. Guilarte spent many years of her career treating children of different ages alongside Pediatric Dentists. Therefore, she is a highly qualified general dentist who extensively treats children. These treatments include space maintainers, stainless steel crowns, children's root canals, sealants, pulpotomies, and many other pediatric procedures. Dr. Guilarte's hobbies include reading, writing, oil painting, and sketching. Her artistic talent and love for the sciences created a solid foundation for her to strengthen her skills in the art of dentistry. She is fluent in English and Spanish.
