Dr. Sandra Bernaza was born in Havana, Cuba, and moved to the city of Miami at the age of 17. She graduated from Florida International University and earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Florida College of Dentistry in 2019. Dr. Bernaza has vast experience diagnosing and treating patients in all facets of dentistry. She is committed to continuously educating herself to serve her patients better and has participated in several conferences and educational seminars. She is involved in several community service events, such as Mission of Mercy and Freedom Clinic. When she is not at the office, she loves spending time with her beautiful baby girl, her husband, and her dogs. She is fluent in English and Spanish.

Dr. Scott Spencer graduated from Nova Southeastern University with his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. Upon graduation, he moved to western Pennsylvania to complete his orthodontic residency at Seton Hill University. There, he earned a certificate in Dentofacial Orthopedics and a Master of Science in Orthodontics. Dr. Spencer also earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Turfgrass Science from the University of Florida, which continues to fuel his interest in horticulture. Dr. Spencer is a member of the America Association of Orthodontics, the American Dental Association, the Florida Dental Association, and the Southern Association of Orthodontics. Dr. Spencer is also board-eligible, having passed the American Board of Orthodontics written exam. A native Floridian, Dr. Spencer is happy to practice close to his hometown, Boynton Beach. He lives nearby with his wife, Heather, and their two boys, Cam and Blake. He enjoys coaching youth soccer and youth baseball. Dr. Spencer likes to fish and relax with his family in his spare time.

Hailing from the Cleveland, Ohio area, her journey into dentistry began at New York University College of Dentistry, where she earned her dental degree in 2016. Driven by a commitment to excellence, Dr. Basali's postgraduate journey was marked by a General Practice Residency at The Ohio State University. Building on this foundation, she pursued advanced training with an Endodontics Residency and Master's in Oral Sciences at the prestigious University of Illinois in Chicago. Having honed her skills, Dr. Basali has left her mark in both Chicago and New York City, contributing her expertise to private dental practices. Her ability to seamlessly integrate technical prowess with patient comfort showcases her dedication to providing exceptional care. Beyond her professional endeavors, Dr. Basali thrives on the thrill of exploring her new home in south Florida alongside her family. Supporting Cleveland sports and immersing herself in the local community's vibrant spirit are additional sources of joy. Dr. Juan Mendoza is a highly respected periodontist in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He is known for his expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of periodontal (gum) disease, as well as in placing dental implants. He is dedicated to providing his patients with the highest quality of care and takes a personalized approach to treatment, ensuring that each patient's unique needs and goals are met. In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Mendoza is actively involved in continuing education and is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Periodontology and the Florida Dental Association. Outside of the office, Dr. Mendoza enjoys spending time with his family and staying active through outdoor activities like biking and hiking. He is also committed to giving back to the community and regularly volunteers his time and resources to local charities. Meet Dr. Simona Zigmond, a seasoned dentist with roots in New York, though her heart has found a home in South Florida for most of her life. Dr. Zigmond earned her Biology degree from Nova Southeastern University before venturing back to the bustling streets of NYC to obtain her dental degree from NYU College of Dentistry. Following graduation, she returned to South Florida, where she laid the foundation for her dental practice. Driven by a lifelong dream, Dr. Zigmond has always aspired to be a dentist. Witnessing the joy she brings to her patients by making them smile is the most rewarding aspect of her profession. Beyond the dental chair, Dr. Zigmond enjoys spending quality time with her family and exploring new destinations through her travels. Fluent in both English and Russian, Dr. Zigmond is also working on honing her Spanish language skills. Her dedication to communication reflects her commitment to providing inclusive and personalized care to her diverse patient community.

Dr. Karen Ben-Elazar is a board-certified pediatric dentist born and raised in New Jersey. She earned a bachelor’s degree in biology with a minor in psychology at Rutgers University. During her undergraduate career, Dr. Ben-Elazar presented and published multiple research works through the honors program and graduated Cum Laude. After making South Florida her new home, Dr. Ben-Elazar earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine in 2019. Throughout her dental training, Dr. Ben-Elazar has always loved public health, research, and volunteer work to instill good oral health practices in pediatric and adolescent populations. After completing her DMD degree, Dr. Ben-Elazar attended an advanced training residency program at the University of Florida, Naples campus. During her post-doctoral training at UF, Dr. Ben-Elazar focused her practice on establishing a conservative approach to dental care for patients of all ages through evidence-based treatments and patient education for prevention. Through her residency, Dr. Ben-Elazar also received advanced training in behavioral management techniques, including oral sedation, IV sedation, and general anesthesia. Although she enjoyed watching beautiful Naples sunsets, she always knew she would return home to the east coast of Florida to give back to her local community. Dr. Ben-Elaza is fluent in Hebrew, proficient in American Sign Language Finger Spell, and has a basic understanding of Spanish.
