Her early experiences in dentistry led her to Venezuela, where she participated in a humanitarian mission, providing dental care to those in need. Dr. Torres's pursuit of excellence continued when she arrived in the United States. She embarked on a transformative educational journey, earning her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from NYU Langone Health as part of an Advanced Education in General Dentistry program. This program honed her skills and deepened her commitment to the field. As a proud member of the American Dental Association, she stays connected to the dental community and remains at the forefront of dental advancements. Dentistry is a source of pride for Dr. Torres and her way of contributing to society. Her giving nature is evident in her dedication to improving the lives of her patients, one smile at a time. Dr. Jorge Piñero is a distinguished dentist with an illustrious career spanning over four decades. He graduated from Marquette University in 1983 and has since become a respected member of multiple nationally and internationally dental associations. Dr. Piñero is renowned for his expertise in esthetic dentistry and has been recognized as one of Dentistry Today's Top 50 Dental Lecturers from 1993 to 2003. In 2001, he was honored with the Kerr Roundtable of Esthetics Best Esthetic Dentist award. Beyond his professional achievements, Dr. Piñero has dedicated much of his time to charitable work, particularly in Zimbabwe, Zambia, and South Africa, from 1983 to 1999. His commitment to education is evident in his role as a Marquette University School of Dentistry and The Midwest Institute of Dental Esthetics professor. Recently retired from his private practice in Milwaukee and Racine, Wisconsin, Dr. Piñero joins Sage Dental, having left a legacy of excellence and compassion in dentistry. Fluent in both English and Spanish, he has touched the lives of countless patients and students throughout his career.

Dr. Linda Shahin is a recent graduate of Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine, having earned her degree in May 2024. With a strong commitment to helping others achieve optimal oral health, Dr. Shahin is passionate about combining her artistic talents with her love of science to create beautiful smiles and enhance overall well-being. Her dedication to dentistry was profoundly reinforced during a mission trip to Tennessee, where she saw firsthand the transformative impact that dental care can have on individuals' lives. As an active member of various dental organizations, including the Nova Southeastern Yoga Club, Cosmetic Club, and Research Club, Dr. Shahin is dedicated to continually expanding her knowledge and skills in the field. Outside of her professional pursuits, she enjoys engaging in creative activities such as drawing, practicing yoga, cooking, and running. Dr. Shahin is fluent in English, Aramaic, and Greek, allowing her to connect with a diverse range of patients.

Dr. Andrew Demos earned his Bachelor’s degree in Biology and Economics from the University of Pittsburgh. Following college, Dr. Demos attended dental school at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine. During this time, he realized his passion and love for the specialty of Orthodontics. While in school, Dr. Demos received several honors, including the Clinical Excellence Award in Cosmetic and Restorative Dentistry and the Divisional Excellence Award in Behavioral Science and Oral Biology. After dental school, Dr. Demos completed his orthodontic residency at Jacksonville University School of Orthodontics. Dr. Demos prides himself on being highly skilled in all areas of Orthodontics, and his fondness for his chosen profession is matched only by the quality of his work. In addition to Orthodontics, Dr. Demos is well known for his care and compassion toward his patients.

Introducing Dr. Doris Basali, a distinguished endodontist making a significant impact in the vibrant landscape of south Florida's dental care. With a dedicated focus on endodontics, Dr. Basali's expertise encompasses the intricate realm of root canals, retreatments, and a comprehensive range of endodontic procedures on all teeth. Hailing from the Cleveland, Ohio area, her journey into dentistry began at New York University College of Dentistry, where she earned her dental degree in 2016. Driven by a commitment to excellence, Dr. Basali's postgraduate journey was marked by a General Practice Residency at The Ohio State University. Building on this foundation, she pursued advanced training with an Endodontics Residency and Master's in Oral Sciences at the prestigious University of Illinois in Chicago. Having honed her skills, Dr. Basali has left her mark in both Chicago and New York City, contributing her expertise to private dental practices. Her ability to seamlessly integrate technical prowess with patient comfort showcases her dedication to providing exceptional care. Beyond her professional endeavors, Dr. Basali thrives on the thrill of exploring her new home in south Florida alongside her family. Dr. Akiva Lautman is a dedicated dental professional born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio. He earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from NOVA Southeastern University in 2022. During his final year, he was honored to be accepted into NOVA's prestigious Postgraduate Endodontics Program. The past six years of advanced education have been incredibly enriching, keeping him at the forefront of the latest dental literature and technology developments. Dr. Lautman is thrilled to advance his career as an Endodontist and is passionate about providing exceptional patient care. Outside of his professional life, Dr. Lautman is an enthusiastic sports fan despite the occasional challenges of supporting Cleveland teams. He enjoys playing basketball, tennis, piano, guitar, and snowboarding. Most importantly, he cherishes spending quality time with his wife, son, and dog. Dr. Lautman is a proud member of several study clubs, the American Association of Endodontists, the Florida Dental Association, and the American Dental Association. Dr. Juan Mendoza is a highly respected periodontist in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
