Dr. Gabriela Romero was born and raised in Venezuela, where she initially attended dental school at La Universidad del Zulia (LUZ). She graduated in 2008 and practiced general dentistry for one year before deciding to pursue a master’s degree in orthodontics and a specialty in pedagogy in Panama for three years. She returned to Venezuela and practiced as an orthodontist for one year. Dr. Romero won the green card lottery visa, which brought her to the United States. She started dental school again at the University of Minnesota for two and a half years to obtain her dental license in the US. In her free time, Dr. Romero likes to read books and exercise by jogging or weightlifting. She also enjoys watching movies and spending quality time with family and friends. Dr. Romero loves practicing dentistry because she loves being able to transform a problem into a solution, help patients get healthy and contribute to their wellbeing.

Dr. Maeve Luken hails from Boston, Massachusetts, where she developed her passion for dentistry. After graduating from Notre Dame Academy high school, she pursued a Biology degree at the University of Maine, graduating summa cum laude. Her journey then took her to LECOM Dental School in Bradenton, FL, where she earned her dental degree. Dr. Luken is deeply committed to providing her patients the highest quality of care. She is an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the Florida Dental Association, and the Dental Society of Greater Orlando. Through ongoing continuing education courses and workshops, she stays abreast of the latest advancements in dentistry. Known for her compassionate approach, Dr. Luken treats each patient like family. She takes the time to listen to their concerns, wants, and needs, ensuring they feel comfortable and well-cared for. Beyond her practice, she actively gives back to the community through participation in dental charity events. Dr. Luken enjoys traveling with her family and friends in her leisure time, exploring local springs and parks, weightlifting, water skiing, and Latin dancing. With her warm and enthusiastic demeanor, Dr. Luken is dedicated to guiding her patients through their dental journey, helping them achieve the healthy and beautiful smile they desire.

Dr. Lauren Lockhart earned her undergraduate degree at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. She went on to study dentistry at the Meharry Medical College School of Dentistry in Nashville, Tennessee. Dr. Lockhart performed her Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics residency at Jacksonville University in Jacksonville, Florida. After completing her residency, Dr. Lockhart returned to her hometown of Cleveland, Ohio, to practice orthodontics for four years before moving to Tampa, Florida, in 2012, and has been a Floridian ever since. Dr. Lockhart is an active member of the American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, American Association of Orthodontics, and the Florida Association of Orthodontics.

Dr. Maria A. Giron Cerrato has been practicing dentistry for 19 years. Originally from Honduras, she earned her Doctor in Dental Surgery degree from the Autonomous National University in 2003. Following graduation, she spent her early career treating patients at her father's private practice in Tegucigalpa. Dr. Giron Cerrato obtained her Doctor in Dental Medicine degree, graduating Summa Cum Laude from Temple University. She then completed specialty training in Endodontics at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia in 2016, with an award from the American Association of Endodontists for the presentation of her research project. Dr. Giron Cerrato attended New York University for advanced comprehensive dentistry and endodontics training. She also holds an MBA in Human Resources from Goldey Beacom College in Wilmington, Delaware. Dr. Giron Cerrato enjoys volunteering in local and international health missions and traveling to remote parts of the globe to serve the impoverished. Dr. Giron Cerrato's goal is to provide patients with compassion, kindness, and quality dental treatment. Dr. Giron Cerrato enjoys exploring nature and spending time with her two young kids and husband, and she is fluent in English and Spanish.

Dr. Shin Kim is a highly skilled oral and maxillofacial surgeon known for his exceptional expertise and distinguished career. Originally from Southern California, he began his academic journey at UCLA, earning a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering. Pursuing his passion for dentistry, he attended the New York College of Dentistry, graduating with honors and obtaining his Doctorate of Dental Surgery. Dr. Kim was selected for the US Navy's Health Professions Scholarship Program (HPSP), which fully supported his dental education. He served as a general dentist in the Navy for several years before undergoing specialized training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, MD. During his residency, he gained extensive experience in various surgical procedures, including dentoalveolar surgery, dental implants (including All-on-X), acute facial trauma management, facial reconstruction, orthognathic surgery, and cosmetic facial surgery. Throughout his tenure in the US Navy, Dr. Kim served Navy Sailors and Marines at various stations and on ships, including a deployment with the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN 69), a nuclear-powered aircraft carrier. Following an honorable discharge, Dr. Kim found his calling in Central Florida, where he established his practice. Dr. Kim's practice offers a comprehensive range of advanced oral and maxillofacial surgical procedures tailored to meet the diverse needs of his patients. He is dedicated to delivering exceptional care, specializing in intravenous sedation, complex teeth extractions, management of wisdom teeth, dental implants, bone grafting, sinus lifts, and pre-prosthetic surgery. Dr. Kim is a member of the Board-Certified American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and actively participates in professional organizations such as the American Dental Association and the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. Outside of work, Dr. Kim enjoys spending time with his family and participating in recreational activities such as fishing, golfing, swimming, and exploring the outdoors. With his extensive expertise and commitment to patient care, Dr. Kim is a trusted authority in oral and maxillofacial surgery.

Dr. Rafik Dib is a board-certified periodontist who specializes in dental implants, esthetics and regenerative periodontics. He has a unique medical background by being both a periodontist with strong oral surgery training and a pharmacist. In 2010, Dr. Dib graduated from Xavier University, New Orleans, LA with a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm. D) degree summa cum laude. In 2014, Dr. Dib graduated from Louisiana State University (LSU) School of Dentistry at the top of his class with a Doctor of Dentistry (DDS) degree. Following graduation, he completed a master’s degree in LSU periodontics residency in 2017 and has conducted his master’s degree thesis in treating aggressive periodontitis patients with the most cutting-edge technology available (biologic growth factors). Seeking exceptionalism, Dr. Dib continues to attend annual meetings in implant dentistry and soft and hard tissue grafting (gum and bone grafting) for the most up-to-date treatment modalities. He speaks three languages, including English, French and Arabic, which allows for smoother communication when treating international patients. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and son. He also enjoys going to the beach, working out and traveling.
