Dr. Julie Han enjoys providing compassionate, patient-centered care while helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles. As a general dentist, she believes dentistry is the perfect blend of science, creativity, and human connection, allowing her to build lasting relationships with patients while making a meaningful impact on their lives. Dr. Han enjoys helping patients feel comfortable, informed, and confident throughout their dental care journey.

Dr. Han earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry. She has a special interest in cosmetic dentistry and her approach combines attention to detail, artistic precision, and a commitment to delivering personalized care tailored to each patient’s goals.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Han enjoys reading, pottery, hot yoga, and fitness classes. A fun fact about Dr. Han is that she adopted a brown tabby cat after moving to Florida. She finds that both dentistry and pottery require patience, precision, and creativity, making them rewarding ways to express her artistic side while helping others.

Dr. Scott Spencer graduated from Nova Southeastern University with his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. Upon graduation, he moved to western Pennsylvania to complete his orthodontic residency at Seton Hill University. There, he earned a certificate in Dentofacial Orthopedics and a Master of Science in Orthodontics. Dr. Spencer also earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Turfgrass Science from the University of Florida, which continues to fuel his interest in horticulture.

Dr. Spencer is a member of the America Association of Orthodontics, the American Dental Association, the Florida Dental Association, and the Southern Association of Orthodontics. Dr. Spencer is also board-eligible, having passed the American Board of Orthodontics written exam.

A native Floridian, Dr. Spencer is happy to practice close to his hometown, Boynton Beach. He lives nearby with his wife, Heather, and their two boys, Cam and Blake. He enjoys coaching youth soccer and youth baseball. Dr. Spencer likes to fish and relax with his family in his spare time.

Dr. Paul Seider is a highly qualified and skilled oral surgeon practicing in the Fort Lauderdale area. He received his dental education at the prestigious Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine, where he excelled academically and gained extensive training in a variety of dental specialties. Prior to that, Dr. Seider completed a Bachelor of Science in Biology at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia.

Following his graduation from Dental School, Dr. Seider completed an Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery internship at the world renowned Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, FL. He then completed a 4 year Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery residency at St. Luke’s/Roosevelt Hospital Center in New York City where he was trained in the full scope of oral & maxillofacial surgery.

Dr. Seider is a member of several professional organizations including the American Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons, the Florida Society of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons, as well as the South Florida District Dental Association.

Dr. Carter is a cum laude graduate of the University of Florida with a bachelor’s degree in nutritional sciences. At UF, he excelled as a student leader. His superior campus and community involvement allowed him to receive the highest student recognition, induction into the UF Student Hall of Fame. He went on to earn his dental degree from the University of Maryland, Baltimore, on a U.S. Air Force scholarship. He continued to shine as a student leader, serving as the national treasurer for the Student National Dental Association. He also earned multiple awards, including Dean’s Community Service Award and the Delta Dental Student Leader Award.

After dental school, Dr. Carter was commissioned as a dental corps officer in the U.S. Air Force and attended an advanced education in general dentistry residency at Keesler Air Force Base.

After five years of honorable service, Dr. Carter decided to leave active duty to pursue his passion for endodontics. He received his endodontic training at the Department of Veteran Affairs program in Manhattan, where he operated as chief resident of the entire dental service. He was also adjunct faculty for NYU’s dental school, teaching dental students the art of root canals.

After residency, Dr. Carter worked at a thriving endodontic practice in Long Island, NY. During this time, Dr. Carter continued to serve as a major in the New York Air National Guard, where he acted as chief of dental services at the 106th Rescue Wing in Westhampton Beach, NY. After another five years of service in the Air National Guard, which included a six-month deployment to Kuwait, Dr. Carter decided to move back to his childhood home of South Florida.

Dr. Carter is board certified endodontist and a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics. He is skilled in a full range of endodontic procedures, and he strives to make every patient feel at ease about root canal treatment. When he is not practicing dentistry, he enjoys spending time with his family, traveling and eating!

Dr. Vanessa Mancuso, a New York native, earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the esteemed New York University College of Dentistry in 2020. She further advanced her expertise by completing a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study (CAGS) and Master of Science in Dentistry (MSD) in Periodontics at Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine in 2023. As a dedicated periodontist, she serves both the local community and patients from around the globe, employing an empathetic and individualized approach to patient care.

Her primary focus is on enhancing oral health and creating transformative smiles. Dr. Mancuso remains at the forefront of her field by staying informed on the latest research and advancements in periodontal biology, which she incorporates into her comprehensive treatment strategies. This expertise enables her to accurately diagnose conditions, formulate effective treatment plans, and promote overall oral wellness. She places a high value on open communication, actively engaging with patients to address their concerns, aspirations, and preferences, thereby helping them achieve their desired oral health outcomes.

Dr. Mancuso is a proud member of the American Academy of Periodontology (AAP), Hispanic Dental Association (HDA), Florida Association of Periodontists (FAP), Florida Dental Association (FDA), International Team for Implantology (ITI) and American Dental Association (ADA).

Dr. Mancuso’s practice incorporates state-of-the-art procedures, including minimally invasive gum grafting, gummy smile correction (gum lift), dental implants, bone grafting, and routine periodontal care.

Beyond her clinical responsibilities, Dr. Mancuso is deeply committed to serving underserved and marginalized communities. She also plays a vital role in mentoring aspiring dental students through the Bringing Smiles Dental Enrichment Program at New York University College of Dentistry, guiding them through the application process and preparing them for interviews.  In her personal time, Dr. Mancuso is passionate about fitness, exploring diverse cuisines, traveling, and cherishing moments with her family.

Dr. Celia Figueroa brings a strong international background and advanced training in general dentistry to her practice at Sage Dental. She earned her first dental degree in the Dominican Republic before continuing her education in the United States and receiving her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from New York University. She also completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency, further developing her skills in comprehensive patient care. Dr. Figueroa speaks English and Spanish, allowing her to connect with and care for a diverse range of patients.

Dr. Figueroa provides compassionate, personalized care and enjoys helping patients and their families achieve healthy, confident smiles. She takes the time to understand each patient’s needs and focuses on creating a comfortable, welcoming experience throughout their dental care.
