Meet Dr. Kevin Brooks, a dedicated general dentist with an impressive background in dental care. He embarked on his educational journey by earning a Bachelor of Science degree from Florida State University in 1978. Driven by a passion for dentistry, he pursued further studies and attained his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the esteemed University of Florida in 1981.

For over three decades, Dr. Brooks has been serving patients with exceptional dental care through his own practice in Ocala. His commitment to staying at the forefront of his field led him to pursue extensive postgraduate studies in cosmetics and sleep study dentistry through LVI, ensuring he provides the most advanced and comprehensive treatments to his patients. Dr. Brooks is thrilled to be working alongside the esteemed professionals at the Sage Dental family, where he can continue to positively impact the oral health of his patients.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Brooks loves sports and has an impressive athletic background. He showcased his skills on the baseball field, playing for the Central Florida Community College before becoming a standout pitcher for the Florida State University Seminoles. Today, his leisure activities include golfing and exploring new destinations with his beloved wife. Dr. Brooks takes immense joy in his family life and cherishes the time spent with his three children and five grandchildren.

Dr. John Saleb was born and raised in Egypt and relocated to the United States at the age of eighteen with no prior knowledge of English. Through remarkable determination, he taught himself the language while earning his GED at Seminole State College. He later graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences from the University of Central Florida in Orlando, then pursued his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale.

Dr. Saleb is an active member of both the American Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry. His commitment to lifelong learning and excellence in patient care is matched by his dedication to community service. He regularly volunteers his dental skills to provide treatment for individuals in need, believing that everyone deserves access to quality oral healthcare.

Inspired by his own transformative experience as a dental patient, Dr. Saleb is passionate about helping others overcome pain, restore function, and regain confidence. He is known for his compassionate, patient-centered approach and strives to make a lasting impact on his patients’ health and well-being.

Fluent in both English and Egyptian Arabic, Dr. Saleb connects easily with a diverse patient population. Outside the office, he is a devoted family man who enjoys playing the violin, spending time with friends, and actively serving in his church community.

Dental education has been at the core of Dr. Sixto Cornejo Zavala’s journey, and his pursuit of excellence has led him on a path that spans two continents. A native of Ecuador, he embarked on his dental education at the Catholic University of Guayaquil, graduating in June 2016.

Determined to broaden his horizons and deepen his knowledge, Dr. Cornejo made a significant move to the United States, specifically to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Here, he embarked on a specialized journey in Periodontics at the esteemed University of Pennsylvania, commencing on July 5th, 2017, and successfully completing his program on June 30th, 2020. Extraordinary challenges marked this period as the world grappled with the COVID-19 pandemic, demonstrating Dr. Cornejo’s resilience and determination in the face of adversity.

After conquering the field of Periodontics, Dr. Cornejo’s pursuit of dental excellence continued. He ventured to upstate New York, particularly to Rochester, where he pursued an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency. This comprehensive program, which took place from July 1st, 2020, to June 30th, 2022, further enhanced his skill set and versatility in dentistry.

Dr. Cornejo’s dedication extends beyond his professional journey. He is fluent in both English and Spanish, enabling him to connect with a diverse range of patients and serve their dental needs effectively. His bilingual proficiency promotes effective communication and fosters a sense of inclusivity in his practice.
