Dr. Marilyn Smeltzer provides patient-centered care with a focus on comfort, trust, and long-term oral health. As a general dentist, she is known for creating a welcoming environment where patients feel at ease and confident in their care.

Dr. Smeltzer earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in 2006. With nearly two decades of experience, she brings a thoughtful, detail-oriented approach to each patient visit. She provides a full range of general dentistry services, with an emphasis on restoring healthy, natural-looking smiles and supporting lasting oral health. Her care is tailored to each patient’s needs, helping them achieve and maintain confident, healthy smiles.

Outside the office, Dr. Smeltzer enjoys gardening and spending time with her family.

Dr. John Jafarian received his Dental Degree from the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry. After receiving his D.D.S. he trained for three more years as a resident at the University of Tennessee at Memphis, and received his Master’s and Specialty Degree in Periodontics and Dental Implants. He has advanced training in IV Sedation and was a clinical instructor in the Periodontology department undergraduate clinic.

Dr. Jafarian believes that, “Dentistry is a customer-oriented business, so not only the quality of the treatment but also the satisfaction of the patients is very important. My experiences and training have prepared me to be a successful Periodontist and I am excited to work for an organization that aligns with my focus – to provide compassionate periodontal care by creating a comfortable and caring atmosphere for my patients.”

Dr. Jafarian is married and they have one son. In his free time, Dr. Jafarian enjoys traveling abroad.
