Dr. DeQuincy Bingham is a dedicated and service-driven dental professional whose journey into dentistry was inspired by a passion for art and a deep desire to enhance the well-being of others through the power of a smile. A proud Louisiana native, Dr. Bingham began his academic path at Grambling State University before earning his Master of Science in Public Health from Meharry Medical College in 2019. He continued his studies at Meharry, graduating with his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree in 2024.

Throughout his academic and professional journey, Dr. Bingham has remained committed to public service. His outreach work includes serving with the Louisiana Army National Guard, participating in the Give Kids A Smile program, joining a dental mission trip with the Jamaica Awareness Association of California, and volunteering at the Special Olympics in Nashville, TN. These experiences have enriched his perspective and strengthened his dedication to providing compassionate, community-focused dental care.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Bingham enjoys expressing his creativity through sketching and finds balance in activities like basketball, billiards, traveling, and working out. Above all, he treasures quality time with his children.

Dr. Devki Patel is a compassionate general dentist who takes pride in providing high-quality, personalized care to every patient. She enjoys all aspects of dentistry and is dedicated to helping individuals achieve healthy, confident smiles. With a gentle touch and a commitment to lifelong learning, Dr. Patel strives to ensure that each patient feels comfortable while receiving skilled and attentive care. She values the opportunity to build lasting relationships and make a positive impact on her patients’ oral health and overall well-being.

Her approach to dentistry is centered on comfort, trust, and education, ensuring that patients feel informed and supported at every step of their care. By focusing on prevention as well as treatment, Dr. Patel works to create long-term solutions that improve both dental health and quality of life.

Outside the office, Dr. Patel enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and exploring her creativity through arts and crafts. She is fluent in English, Hindi, Gujarati, and Urdu, which allows her to connect with patients from diverse backgrounds.

Dr. Angelique Rodgers has more than two decades of experience in creating beautiful smiles in Atlanta, Georgia. She is a graduate of Emory University. After graduating from Meharry Medical College School of Dentistry, she attended Howard University College of Dentistry, where she completed an orthodontic residency. Dr. Rodgers stays on the cutting-edge of the latest advancements in orthodontics by keeping memberships with many professional organizations.

Dr. Rodgers is compassionate and enjoys getting to know each patient as she welcomes them to the orthodontic family. She believes in a multidisciplinary approach to dentistry and works closely with the dental team to provide comprehensive treatment that addresses the individual needs of her patients. Over the years, Dr. Rodgers has treated many patients and created thousands of beautiful, healthy smiles.

Dr. Rodgers loves spending time with her husband and three children. During her leisure time, she enjoys traveling and has been to five continents. She enjoys meeting people and experiencing new cultures.

Dr. Sheerin Yusuf started her formal education in dentistry at Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences in Karnataka, India. When she moved to the United States, she attended Temple University Kornberg School of Dentistry in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and graduated Summa cum Laude in 2002 with her Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree in 2002 with Advanced Standing Student status. She went on to study and receive her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 2009 and completed a Residency in Endodontics until 2011.

Adept at research, Dr. Yusuf completed formal analysis in a ‘comparative study to determine the efficiency of variable taper and constant taper rotary files during the cleaning and shaping of the root canal system in teeth with mild, moderate, and severe curvatures.’ In 2011 she completed another formal research study, which provided “A Comparison of Apical Transportation among NiTi constant taper rotary files, M-Wire NiTi files, and stainless steel files in a reciprocating handpiece.”

Dr. Yusuf is a member of the American Association of Endodontists and the American Dental Association.

When not practicing her passion for dentistry, Dr. Yusuf enjoys reading, swimming, hiking with friends and family, and spending time with her four kids and husband. She speaks English, Hindi, Kannada, and Urdu.

Dr. Anastasiya Badziai is a Periodontist and Implant Specialist with extensive skills and knowledge in the field. She earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from The University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine, and pursued her interest  in periodontal and implant surgeries. She underwent an additional three years of advanced training in Periodontics at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine, where she also earned a Masters Degree in Dental Science.

With comprehensive expertise in both surgical and non-surgical periodontal therapy, as well as dental implants, Dr. Badziai is well-equipped to address a broad range of dental issues, from chronic periodontal disease to tooth loss. Her caring and attentive approach to patient care, along with a focus on individual needs, fosters a comfortable and trusting experience for patients throughout their treatment.

A member of the American Academy of Periodontology and the American Dental Association, Dr. Badziai actively engages in dental conferences and seminars, demonstrating her commitment to ongoing learning and ensuring the highest standard of care for her patients.

During her leisure time, Dr. finds joy in activities such as hiking, road trips, and spending quality time with her family and friends. She is fluent in English and Russian.

Introducing Dr. Adam Merriam, a highly accomplished Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon with a passion for delivering exceptional care and a dedication to continuous learning and innovation.

Dr. Merriam’s educational journey began at NYU College of Dentistry, where he graduated from Dental School in 2008. He then honed his skills and knowledge through a General Practice Residency at North Shore University Hospital in 2009, followed by an intensive Oral and Maxillofacial Residency at Montefiore Medical Center, which he completed in 2014. With over 15 years of experience, Dr. Merriam has earned a reputation as a skilled Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon. His expertise encompasses dental implants and bone reconstructive surgery, with a keen focus on incorporating the latest advancements in his practice.

Dr. Merriam’s commitment to excellence and staying at the forefront of his field is evident through his active membership in professional organizations, including AAMOS, the ADA (American Dental Association), and the Georgia Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. His dedication to his craft extends to his active participation in dental research and his commitment to ongoing education. He attends over 100 hours of continuing dental and medical education annually.

Outside the operating room and lecture halls, Dr. Merriam enjoys pursuing his passions. He finds exhilaration on the slopes while skiing, immerses himself in the vibrant world of live music, and cherishes quality time spent with his loving wife and two children.

With nearly a decade of experience in dentistry, Dr. Ashley Akins has developed a genuine passion for helping patients feel comfortable and confident in their care. A native of Atlanta, Georgia, she completed her dental education at Loma Linda University in Southern California, where she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Dr. Akins brings a warm, personable approach to each patient she treats and is committed to creating a positive dental experience.

Dr. Akins enjoys restoring smiles and helping patients achieve the health, function, and confidence they deserve. She takes an empathetic and personable approach to dentistry, taking the time to understand each patient’s needs and concerns. She knows that visiting the dentist can feel stressful for some patients, and her goal is to help each person feel comfortable, cared for, and satisfied with both their experience and their smile.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Akins enjoys spending time with her husband, son, and two German Shepherds. She values time with her family and brings that same warmth and personal connection to the relationships she builds with her patients.
