Dr. Barton Ross earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Emory University School of Dentistry in Atlanta, Georgia, in 1976. With expertise spanning nearly all areas of dentistry, he has cultivated a rich and diverse career dedicated to advancing the profession and enhancing patient care.
Dr. Ross is a longstanding member of esteemed dental organizations, including the American Dental Association, the Florida Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Academy of Facial Esthetics, the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, and the American Society of Osseointegration. He has held leadership roles, serving as Secretary and Vice President of the Gold Coast Component of the Academy of General Dentistry in South Florida.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Ross has demonstrated a deep commitment to community service. He has volunteered as a dentist for the Migrant Workers' Clinic in Homestead, Florida, and served as a clinical treating dentist at the Lindsey Hopkins Dental Clinic in Miami. Dr. Ross has also contributed to education by serving on the Speakers Bureau for the Miami-Dade County Public School System and as an Advisory Council Board Member for the Atlantic Technical Center and Technical High School in Broward County, Florida.
A dedicated educator and thought leader, Dr. Ross has lectured to hundreds of dentists and authored numerous articles on restorative, cosmetic, and facial rejuvenation techniques. His work reflects a lifelong passion for improving dental health within the profession and for his patients.
When not practicing dentistry, Dr. Ross enjoys an active lifestyle that includes bike riding, hiking, surfing, and regular gym workouts. He also loves traveling, particularly on cruise adventures with his wife, family, and friends.
