Bhavin Trivedi, DDS

Dr. Bhavin Trivedi is a dedicated Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon, currently in Jacksonville, Florida. His range of specialty surgical services offered to the community includes, but is not limited to, dentoalveolar surgery (extractions), bone grafting, dental implants, and pre-prosthetic surgery, surgical and non-surgical management of Temporomandibular joint disorders (TMD), Oral pathology, and jaw reconstructive surgery under intravenous sedation and general anesthesia.

Dr. Trivedi obtained his Bachelor of Science in Microbiology/Biotechnology with the highest honors, graduating as a Valedictorian from North Carolina State University in Raleigh, NC. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. After graduating from dental school, he began his career as an active-duty Naval Officer. During his one-year comprehensive General Practice Residency (GPR) at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland, his professional focus shifted. His exposure to the facial surgical rehabilitation of servicemembers injured in combat sparked his profound passion for pursuing the field of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.

His Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery training was conducted at the prestigious Baylor University Medical Center/Texas A&M Health Science Center in Dallas, TX. This rigorous residency included demanding rotations in General Surgery and Anesthesia (both pediatric and adult). Dr. Trivedi also demonstrated a strong commitment to academic advancement, serving as the primary author on two surgical publications in the Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, focusing on critical topics such as facial trauma and the surgical management of TMD.

Dr. Trivedi is passionate about patient care and dedicated to his patients, ensuring they receive the highest standard of care, with a focus on functional recovery and aesthetic results. He speaks English, Spanish, Gujarati, and Hindi, allowing him to engage with a diverse patient base. Outside of work, Dr. Trivedi enjoys spending time with his family, including two busy toddlers. If he is not practicing dentistry, you can likely find him working in the yard or trying to squeeze in a round of golf.
