Efrain Coronado, DDS

Dr. Efrain Coronado has been a valued member of the Sage Dental family for more than 21 years, bringing over 25 years of experience in general dentistry to his patients and colleagues. After earning his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Syracuse University, he completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Maryland in 1998. Throughout his career, Dr. Coronado has practiced all facets of general dentistry, working closely with specialists to provide comprehensive, high-quality care tailored to each patient’s needs.

Beyond his clinical practice, Dr. Coronado is passionate about giving back. In 2009, he founded Missions of Love, a humanitarian initiative that delivers free dental and medical services to underserved communities in Colombia. His dedication to service reflects the compassion and commitment he brings to both his patients and the broader community. In 2019, he further pursued personal growth by earning a master’s degree in theology. That same year, he relocated to Georgia, where he was promoted to Regional Clinical Director for Sage Dental, supporting dentists and practices across the state.

Outside of his professional life, Dr. Coronado enjoys spending time with his wife and four children. He also has a love for tennis, traveling, and board games, which provide balance and joy in his personal life.
