Dr. Gary Selby is an accomplished leader in the dental profession. He attended the University of South Florida, earning his Bachelor of Arts degree before attending the Virginia Commonwealth University and earning his Doctor of Dentistry degree in 1972. He served in the Army Dental Corps until 1976 and earned the Commendation Medal of Honor, and continued his education thereafter by earning his Masters of Education from Virginia Commonwealth University. He served as the Assistant Professor in the Department of General Dentistry at the same university, where he also was a Dental Director at its Center of Community Health.
Dr. Selby received his Certification by National Board of Dental Examiners, and is licensed by the Virginia and Florida Dental Boards. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the Florida Dental Association, the West Coast Dental Association, the Hillsborough Dental Association, and Virginia Dental Association.
