Kim Shaw, DDS

General Dentist

Dr. Shaw’s approach to dentistry is grounded in patient comfort, clear communication, and a commitment to helping each person feel confident in their care. He earned his undergraduate degrees in Dental Hygiene and Psychology from The Ohio State University before receiving his dental degree from the university. He continued his clinical training through a General Practice Residency at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Dayton, Ohio, before beginning his career in Florida.

Dr. Shaw enjoys helping patients understand their dental needs and takes the time to explain their care and treatment options. He strives to make every dental experience as comfortable as possible and believes that informed patients are better equipped to make decisions about their oral health.

Community involvement has been an important part of Dr. Shaw’s professional life. He is a member of the American Dental Association and the Florida Dental Association and was a charter member of the Florida Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. He has volunteered through his children’s schools and church, as well as with the Florida Baptist Convention, providing dental care to people in need. He has also volunteered with the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry Foundation to provide dental services to survivors of domestic abuse.

Outside of the office, Dr. Shaw enjoys reading, spending time at the beach, riding his bike, and being with his family. He and his wife have five children and three grandchildren, and family time is an important part of his life.
