Laura Word, DDS

Originally from Venezuela, Dr. Laura Word brings a compassionate, personalized approach to general dentistry. She believes every patient deserves to feel heard, respected, and comfortable throughout their care, and takes time to understand each patient’s needs and develop individualized treatment plans.

Dr. Word earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in Venezuela in 2015 before moving to the United States and completing an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency at Larkin Community Hospital. Her advanced training included comprehensive restorative dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, digital dentistry, oral surgery, and prosthodontics. She continues to expand her knowledge through ongoing professional development and continuing education.

Dr. Word values staying current with advances in dentistry while providing care focused on each patient’s individual needs and goals. She enjoys helping patients feel confident in their oral health and creating positive dental experiences through clear communication and personalized care.

Outside the office, Dr. Word enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, exploring new places, and continuing to learn through professional development.
