Maria Giron Cerrato, DMD

Dr. Maria A. Giron Cerrato has been practicing dentistry for 19 years. Originally from Honduras, she earned her Doctor in Dental Surgery degree from the Autonomous National University in 2003. Following graduation, she spent her early career treating patients at her father's private practice in Tegucigalpa.

Dr. Giron Cerrato obtained her Doctor in Dental Medicine degree, graduating Summa Cum Laude from Temple University. She then completed specialty training in Endodontics at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia in 2016, with an award from the American Association of Endodontists for the presentation of her research project.

Dr. Giron Cerrato attended New York University for advanced comprehensive dentistry and endodontics training. She also holds an MBA in Human Resources from Goldey Beacom College in Wilmington, Delaware.

Dr. Giron Cerrato enjoys volunteering in local and international health missions and traveling to remote parts of the globe to serve the impoverished. Dr. Giron Cerrato's goal is to provide patients with compassion, kindness, and quality dental treatment.

Dr. Giron Cerrato enjoys exploring nature and spending time with her two young kids and husband, and she is fluent in English and Spanish.
