Dr. Nina Cunningham is a periodontist specializing in implant dentistry, periodontal resective and regenerative surgery techniques, and periodontal plastic surgery. She obtained her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the Ludwig-Maximilians-University of Munich in 2007 and moved to the U.S. in 2009 to be with her husband. In 2012, she graduated as Valedictorian of her dental class from Nova Southeastern University located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, after completing the International Dental Graduate Program.
Dr. Cunningham went on to successfully complete a 3-year postgraduate program in Periodontics and Implant dentistry as well as a Master's degree in Periodontics at Nova Southeastern University. She is well-versed in esthetic treatment planning, crown lengthening procedures, and gum-grafting using established and advanced tunneling techniques. Nina strongly believes in consistent, open communication between dental professionals to achieve the best results for her patients.
As a periodontist, Nina Cunningham enjoys improving her patients’ smiles and general well-being by treating health-related problems caused by periodontal disease. She believes that each patient deserves a comfortable and pleasant experience. Nina lives with her 6-year-old daughter, 4-year-old son, and husband in Fort Lauderdale, where they enjoy riding their bicycles to the beach, visiting her family in Germany, and spending time with family and friends. She speaks English, German, and Swedish.
