Dr. Chang migrated from Jamaica to Miami, Florida, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Florida International University. Dr. Chang graduated top of his class with his Doctorate in Dental Surgery from Howard University. After that, he completed a General Practice Residency at Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Washington, D.C. Dr. Chang received his specialty certification in orthodontics after two years of intensive training at the University of Colorado Denver School of Dental Medicine.
Dr. Chang is committed to staying on the cutting edge of the latest advancements in orthodontics and has completed advanced certification in Invisalign, training in iBraces (Incognito braces), Damon System self-ligating orthodontic appliances, and temporary anchorage devices (miniscrews). Dr. Chang understands that orthodontics is a changing field, with new research and techniques being developed all the time. To provide the best and most innovative care available, he attends continuing education courses annually throughout the country.
Dr. Chang feels it is essential to treat each case individually and spend time with each patient at every visit.
