Dr. Wakas Abdulrazzaq is a highly skilled orthodontist dedicated to providing exceptional patient care. He obtained his Certificate in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics from MedStar Washington Hospital Center/Georgetown University in 2021, after earning his Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of Illinois at Chicago School of Dentistry in 2017 and his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Jordan School of Dentistry in 2011.
Dr. Abdulrazzaq is board-certified by the American Board of Orthodontics (ABO) and is a member of several prestigious dental associations, including the American Association of Orthodontics (AAO), the Middle Atlantic Association of Orthodontics (MASO), and the American Dental Association (ADA). He was the Chief Resident at MedStar Washington Hospital Center and received the Resident Champion award. Dr. Abdulrazzaq is also a member of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society and was awarded the Dr. Harry Saxon Scholarship for Academic Excellence.
Dr. Abdulrazzaq was inspired to become a dentist during an elementary school field trip to a dental school. His passion for orthodontics grew during dental school as he worked with children and adults, witnessing the transformative impact of orthodontic treatment on their lives.
In his free time, Dr. Abdulrazzaq enjoys playing tennis, practicing yoga, and traveling to new places to learn about different cultures. He is fluent in English and Arabic.
