Yanaig Polo, DMD

Dr. Yanaig Polo is a compassionate and accomplished dentist with more than 15 years of combined international and U.S. experience. Originally from Cuba, she earned her Doctor in Stomatology in 2004 and a Specialty in Comprehensive General Dentistry in 2006 from the University of Medical Sciences of Villa Clara. Committed to furthering her expertise, she later completed her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, where she consistently earned recognition on the Dean’s List.

Licensed to practice in Florida and Tennessee, Dr. Polo offers comprehensive care in preventive and restorative dentistry, prosthodontics, and patient education. She has a strong academic background, having served as a Teaching Assistant at Tufts and taught in Cuba and Venezuela, where she instructed future dentists in general dentistry, psychology, biostatistics, and dental materials. Her philosophy of care is centered on prevention, patient education, and building lasting relationships, with a passion for serving diverse communities.

Beyond the dental chair, Dr. Polo is dedicated to community service, volunteering with organizations such as Lions International, contributing to hurricane relief efforts, and providing care to underserved populations in Miami-Dade County. Fluent in both English and Spanish, she connects with patients across cultures with ease. In her free time, she enjoys being outdoors with her husband and children—whether at the beach, fishing, staying active at the gym, or enjoying sports together.
