Dr. Mobeen Alvi, an Endodontist who specializes in root canals. He graduated from the University of Maryland with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Master of Science in Molecular Biology. He received his dental training at the University of Maryland, Baltimore College of Dental Surgery. He completed his residency and advanced specialty training in Endodontics from Nova Southeastern University.

Dr. Alvi has performed over 10,000 successful root canal procedures using the surgical operating microscope. He has spent his career providing patients with exceptional compassionate care. The thought of a root canal can cause fear and anxiety. However, Dr. Alvi takes his time to listen his patients to understand their previous dental experiences to ensure the procedure is performed as comfortably and as painlessly as possible. Dr. Alvi holds memberships in the American Association of Endodontists (AAE), Florida Association of Endodontists (FAE) and the American Dental Association (ADA).

Dr. Alvi is married to his beautiful wife of over 10 years and they have 3 children together. He enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing golf and he is an avid snowboarder. He roots for the Baltimore Ravens, Baltimore Orioles and the Orlando Magic!

Dr. Carolyn Nguyen graduated from Temple University School of Dentistry in 1999. Her journey into dentistry began during her time in a Buddhist youth group, where one of her leaders, who was then a dental student, inspired her. This introduction led Dr. Nguyen to start volunteering in a dental office, sparking a passion that has defined her career ever since.

As a dedicated dentist, Dr. Nguyen finds joy in making people laugh and smile. Her approach to dentistry is rooted in compassion and a genuine desire to improve her patients’ lives. Beyond her professional life, she is a single mother of two grown, beautiful children. She spends much of her free time practicing Buddhist meditation, traveling with her daughter, and indulging in K-drama and Chinese dramas. Additionally, she enjoys playing poker whenever she has the opportunity.

Dr. Nguyen’s warm and vibrant personality is reflected in her loud and infectious laughter, which she believes is in her genes. She firmly believes that making someone smile is the purpose of her life, and it brings her immense happiness.

Dr. Nguyen is fluent in both Vietnamese and English, allowing her to connect with a diverse range of patients and provide exceptional care tailored to their needs.
