Born in Havana, Cuba, Dr. Silvia Gomez Saavedra is a passionate dental professional committed to excellence in patient care. She embarked on her dental journey at the University of Medical Sciences of Havana, earning her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2013. In 2016, driven by a desire for continuous growth and learning, Dr. Gomez relocated to pursue additional training. She completed the two-year residency program in General Practice Residency at the University of Miami, further enriching her skills and expertise. Devoted to her profession, Dr. Gomez approaches dentistry with a determination to treat each patient with exceptional care, kindness, and compassion. Recognizing the unique needs of each individual, she emphasizes the importance of open communication throughout the treatment process, considering it an essential element for both success and patient satisfaction. Dr. Gomez is fluent in both English and Spanish, which ensures effective communication, fostering a comfortable and inclusive environment for her diverse range of patients. Dr. Sanket Rathod is a dedicated dentist passionate about providing exceptional dental care to his patients. Originally from India, Dr. Rathod graduated from Manubhai Patel Dental College in 2007 and worked as a general dentist in India for six years. In 2013, he moved to Florida, where he continued his dental career at Treasure Coast Community Health, serving as a dental assistant and dental hygienist until 2017. Driven by a desire for continuous learning and growth, Dr. Rathod completed a two-year Dental Residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry at Nova Southeastern University. Dr. Rathod is a proud member of several professional organizations, including the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the American Association of Endodontists. He is also a member of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. In addition to his professional work, Dr. Rathod is deeply committed to giving back to the community. He has participated in dental mission trips to Nicaragua, Bolivia, and the Dominican Republic, providing much-needed dental care to underserved populations. He has also volunteered at events such as the Florida Mission of Mercy and special Olympic events. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Rathod enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, and exploring different cuisines. He is fluent in English, Hindi, and Gujarati. After working in the Tampa area for five years, Dr. Rathod is excited to start a new chapter in his dental career in Jacksonville.
