Dr. Gary Selby is an accomplished leader in the dental profession. He attended the University of South Florida, earning his Bachelor of Arts degree before attending the Virginia Commonwealth University and earning his Doctor of Dentistry degree in 1972. He served in the Army Dental Corps until 1976 and earned the Commendation Medal of Honor, and continued his education thereafter by earning his Masters of Education from Virginia Commonwealth University. He served as the Assistant Professor in the Department of General Dentistry at the same university, where he also was a Dental Director at its Center of Community Health.

Dr. Selby received his Certification by National Board of Dental Examiners, and is licensed by the Virginia and Florida Dental Boards. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the Florida Dental Association, the West Coast Dental Association, the Hillsborough Dental Association, and Virginia Dental Association.

Dr. Sam Issa’s mission is to provide comprehensive dental services to all patients in a safe, reassuringly pleasant, and comfortable environment. He graduated from Baghdad University and finished 24 months of advanced education in General Dentistry with NYU Langone Health in 2020.

Dr. Issa is a dedicated professional who continuously seeks training and professional development opportunities to remain aware and knowledgeable about new dental practices and the latest technology. In his free time, Dr. Issa enjoys swimming, walking, and spending time outdoors with his wife and three children. He is fluent in English and Arabic.

Dr. Wakas Abdulrazzaq is a highly skilled orthodontist dedicated to providing exceptional patient care. He obtained his Certificate in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics from MedStar Washington Hospital Center/Georgetown University in 2021, after earning his Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of Illinois at Chicago School of Dentistry in 2017 and his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Jordan School of Dentistry in 2011.

Dr. Abdulrazzaq is board-certified by the American Board of Orthodontics (ABO) and is a member of several prestigious dental associations, including the American Association of Orthodontics (AAO), the Middle Atlantic Association of Orthodontics (MASO), and the American Dental Association (ADA). He was the Chief Resident at MedStar Washington Hospital Center and received the Resident Champion award. Dr. Abdulrazzaq is also a member of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society and was awarded the Dr. Harry Saxon Scholarship for Academic Excellence.

Dr. Abdulrazzaq was inspired to become a dentist during an elementary school field trip to a dental school. His passion for orthodontics grew during dental school as he worked with children and adults, witnessing the transformative impact of orthodontic treatment on their lives.

In his free time, Dr. Abdulrazzaq enjoys playing tennis, practicing yoga, and traveling to new places to learn about different cultures. He is fluent in English and Arabic.

Dr. Vy Truong graduated from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry in 2021 and has since devoted herself to enhancing her patients’ oral health and overall dental experiences. With a strong commitment to patient care, Dr. Truong is known for her trustworthiness, compassion, and attentive approach. She takes pride in creating a welcoming and relaxed environment where her patients feel supported and at ease during their visits, whether they are undergoing routine checkups or more complex procedures. 
 
Dr. Truong finds fulfillment in improving her patients’ oral health and smiles, recognizing the significant impact it has on their confidence and quality of life. Her dedication to personalized care means she takes the time to understand each patient’s unique needs and concerns, offering tailored solutions that promote long-term oral health. 
 
Beyond her work in dentistry, Dr. Truong values spending time with her family and friends. She is passionate about learning new cultures and languages, which has fostered a deep appreciation for diversity. She also enjoys exploring different cuisines, always eager to try new foods and broaden her culinary experiences.
