Dr. Smita Borole brings a comprehensive approach to dentistry, with a special interest in full-mouth rehabilitation and esthetic dentistry. She provides a wide range of dental care and enjoys helping patients address their oral health needs through thoughtful, individualized treatment.

Dr. Borole focuses on comprehensive treatment planning and takes an approach that considers each patient’s unique needs and goals. She is passionate about helping patients achieve healthy, functional, and confident smiles through personalized care.

Beyond her clinical work, Dr. Borole is the founder and president of Smiles For Hope, a nonprofit organization that provides free dental care to victims of domestic violence. She enjoys Indian cooking and is trained in Indian classical dance. She shares her passion for cooking through an Indian cooking show on a local television station and has choreographed several dance performances for cultural events in Knoxville, Tennessee.

Kevin Shepherd, DMD

Periodontist

Dr. Kevin Shepherd is a dedicated periodontist committed to helping patients restore function and confidence through thoughtful treatment planning and a supportive, respectful approach. He provides patient-centered care with a focus on comfort, clear communication, and long-term oral health.

Dr. Shepherd completed his specialty training in periodontics at the Dental College of Georgia at Augusta University. Originally from Georgia, he has relocated to East Tennessee, where he continues to care for patients and be part of the local community.

His clinical focus includes dental implants, bone grafting, gum grafting, and laser-assisted treatment for periodontal disease. Dr. Shepherd uses modern techniques to support effective, predictable outcomes while prioritizing patient comfort throughout care.

Outside of the office, Dr. Shepherd enjoys spending time with his wife and their three children. He stays active through running and biking and enjoys following sports. He is also involved in coaching youth sports, reflecting his commitment to family, community, and mentorship.
